Geumhyung Jeong is coming back to NYC and will be performing another Toy Demo performance, made in collaboration with her mechanical sculptures contained in the exhibition, Toys, Selected at Canal Projects. Jeong’s choreographies inject qualities of sensuality, tenderness, and curiosity into the relationship between the human and the machine. The exhibition becomes a stage or even a laboratory, where the roles of puppet and puppeteer are tinkered and toyed with.
The performance will occur for one night only, so get your spot now before its too late!
Performances will start promptly at 7pm at 351 Canal Street. Please arrive by 6:50pm.
The performance will be located in our ground level gallery, which is accessed by a small flight of stairs or an ADA accessible lift. While the performance is primarily designed for a standing audience, a limited number of seats are available.
The performance runs for approximately 1 hour and no late entry will be permitted.
